Is it a dwarf puffer? the ones that only grow up to an inch?
Yes, thats a dwarf puffer... remember to feed it small snails.
Oww no.. its currently housed with my betta. I can place it in the community tank with the danios, celestial pearl, threadfins, otos, rcs, assasin snail and cory right? That tank is heavily planted and has lots of pond snails and baby shirmps..😢
Well... dwarf puffers have individual personalities, so their behavior can be quite unpredictable in a community tank. Some are okay while others may turn aggressive at times and start nipping at other fish's tails and fins too. I guess you'll just have to try and see.
Ok thanks coolgear and Urban Aquaria!
Worst case scenario is that it develops a taste for fish eyes.. They are very accurate hunters.

Owww no!! Ur making me nervous!!! I luv my community tank! I cant have any fish plucking each other's eyes
Yea. You better observe closely. Mine had a problem in my community tank. Lots of fin nipped instance.
Update: 1 of the 2 puffer was a fin nipper and I had to transfer him in a quarantine tank, the other 1 is not aggressive for now so he'll be staying in the community tank, you guys where right when you said they each have their own personalities! So thank you all for the input!
Yea. Continue to observe. Their behavior might change too!
Yeah, i once kept a "peaceful" dwarf puffer in a community tank... was okay and friendly for the first few weeks, then one day i shifted some plants and it suddenly went berserk, biting all the other fishes and shrimps.
I guess some dwarf puffers don't take changes so well.
The dwarf puffer surely packs a big attitude for something so small and cute!
