Can consider Boraras brigittae.....they are very small and shrimp safe. Like their colours....only thing is they don't school like tetras.

You can try lampeye killies, those will not hunt adult shrimps but might target shrimplets though. Another option is paedocypris progenetica, dont think that will eat even shrimplets.
I love Celestial Pearl Danios. They really show their colors nicely if you feed them well, and keep the temperature around 25-27 C. Of course, at first they tend to hide a fair bit but if they're comfortable they'll be out and about!

Here are mine paired with threadfin rainbow fish. They seem to like to swim together. I believe the threadfins are like dither fish to them
