most likely died, eaten and rotted away
had 4 cherry shrimps in 1foot nano tank.. was doing fine for 3-4weeks, after that they disappeared. or migrated.
juz curious, do shrimps get eaten by tetras, cories or rummynose? i've looked very hard for them, shrimps really gone. nop they didnt jump out, nop don see their bodies.. it looks like they've been eaten, or died AND melted.
which is the more likely scenario, eaten or melted?
my planted tank is a small 12\"x7\"x10\"(height)

That is the likelihood. how big are your shrimps when u put them in?
did you try lifting up your drift wood? Sometimes shrimp hide under there.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
hmmm yes died & rotted away.. dat sounds so veli logical. guess i wil take dat as wat happened.
they were abt 1.5cm wen i put them in. was doing fine for weeks. active & turning veli red. no driftwood .. my tank now is pending overhaul. gonna re-do everything.

i lost a few in the filter.... and a couple jumped and landed on the lighting fixture... err... bbq shrimp....
sometimes they disappear for days.. and come back BIGGER!
