Indefinite BAN of Shrimp Sales on AQ w.e.f. from Monday 20th Aug 2012

We have decided to disallow the sales, giving and trading of shrimp through AQ from Monday, 20th Aug 2012 onwards until further notice. The main reasons is the quarrelsome and contentious nature of some shrimp hobbyists, especially when it comes to sales of shrimp.

Shrimp discussions are still allowed.

Going forward, AQ will be reviewing the Marketplace structure and policies for all items with the goal of promoting responsible sales and supporting the aquarium industry. We may allow shrimp sales again in the future, but with stricter rules.
