How is ur growth rate like? Mine even after putting in high light and co2 injection still dammm slow.
Got this Anubias White last August 2014, put it in my outdoor tank because it came with my shipment of Bucephalandras. Forgot all about it until last Jan 25, when I was cleaning my tank, I saw it covered with moss! Immediately I made a new tank to house it ( cause I heard from my friend that it's hard to look for stock of this). With proper care now, fertilizer & cooler temperature, it's now slowly recovering and having shoots.
The mother plant. Cut part of it's rhizome with 2 shoots
The other half of it's rhizome with 4 more shoots
How is ur growth rate like? Mine even after putting in high light and co2 injection still dammm slow.
Clamence, as of 1/25/15 only one leaf was produced. But the new shoots are doing pretty well with their growth.

Bro, your anubias look more like pinto?

I think pinto have bigger leaves, although I haven't seen one personally

Pinto do have much bigger leaves than white. However the leaves of your specimen seem to have a lot of green on it leading me to think that it is pinto. Also, leaves of anubias white i more round compared to pinto which have more oval leaves
Ah I see. But the time I bought my white, I think there's no pinto yet. Maybe it's the condition of my tank that causes leaves to turn green when matured. New leaves are pure white though.

FYI, basing on my supplier's source,
the producer of white nana. He have at least 2000 white nanas on hand. However, monthly he is only able to harvest 20 - 30 stalks (6 leaves type)
So to put it to perspective,
20 stalks per month, 240 stalks per year. 6 leaves, 1440 leaves.
that will mean, the white nanas are growing pathetically slow and it takes years to cultivate
so to say, it grows 1 leave per year? haha...
previously my white nana is growing at 1 leave per month. so i am happy.
