what kind of light system are you using? technically, if you take a 3watts per gallon, it will work out roughly about 510watts, so you are far from that... i suggest using MH of 150watts, 2-3 should be sufficient for most foreground, not taking in consideration other factors like temp, water conditions
I'm running a 6x2x2... no need 500W. If you are using PLs, 3 rows, of them end to end. FLs, 4 rows. MH, 2 or 3 bulbs.
3WPG guideline do not scale properly for very large tanks and very small tanks. I'm running my tanks under 9x36W PLs. I grew E. tenellus just fine.
Beyond lights, you have to provide good CO2 and ferts... are you doing that?
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
i have CO2 and Fert..... Fl light i have only 5 bulbs....
each 36watt....
how can i do...
and by the way, what other plants beside the foreground plant can i grow succeffully..?
thank you for all your reply
