So just wanted to say this first, first time on the forum and everyone seems great on here and tons of info!
Alright back to the subject, yesterday i was at my creek in florida when i noticed that every rock that was very close to the river or half in the water had this great looking lush dense moss on it and acutally it is pretty thick and not just moss that when you try to take off a rock breaks instead of coming off. So i am just wondering if anyone could identify it for me? I did a 1part bleach to 20parts water dip for 30second to get any unwanted stuff off it before putting it in a quarantine tank with a t-8 bulb. So far it looks pretty good. I broke it up a little bit to add it on the driftwood so the bark brown that you see is some of the deap or maybe roots idk much about moss but it had a layer under the lush green tat was brown so im guessing it used that to hold onto the rocks.

To be honest with you, it is very very difficult to identify moss From picture, unless something obvious like flame moss or weeping moss.
Check this site, see if any of the moss species listed there match the ones in your tank:

Found some in the creek that was submersed looks great almost close to willow moss! Def gets longer leafs when in the water instead of on a rock with little water! Here is the pics that I have. Two first pics are of the emersed I picked up and the last pics are the submersed
