    I have a six feet tank... 6 x 2 x 2


    anyone can recommend me a suitable external filter for me which is powerful and reliable.

    and also state the approximate price and where to buy if can...

    Depending if it's for a fish only or a planted tank. Normally, planted tanks don't need such a powerful filter.

    Perhaps you can be more specific about the tank setup and it's inhabitants to get a more specific recommendation.

    you might want to consider having 2 filters, one on each side.. or a ehiem pro 2028 and a powerhead to drive circulation around the tank

    Agreed...I use 2 filter for my 4 feet bullet tank(planted) as well. 1 external to keep the "dirts" away, the other to circulate current (lower temperature). I use Dolphin C1300 - good price at Yishun 618. Think it was around $88 (Gd price really)

    if not planted, best wld be a sump.... if it is planted also can use sump.... but be prepared for EXTRA HIGH CONSUMPTION of CO2...!!!!!!
