Marsilea can be consider as foreground plant... petite nana as the mid ground and java fern as background.. they are the toughest..
Hi bros
I am looking for super low light and easy plants for small 1.5ft tank.
I do not use any sand, soil or co2.
Currently trying those very big leaf anubias some Thin leaf Java ferns and java moss.
Tank receive some indirect sunlight during the day. Only a small 0.6watt aquazonic white led on for 12hours per day. I notice some leaf of the anubias turn brown and i cut them away. Also tried windolov java fern. They just turn black after a few weeks. May i know which type java fern is toughest? Currently monitoring java moss progress...
I heard there is a african water fern call bobotis hedoulduti spelling... is this a super low light tough plant?
Thanks bro

Hi bro irvine which type java fern is toughest? I tried windolov java no good.
Now i am trying those thin leave java fern... i think call phillipines java... not sure tough anot...lolz
I think all java ferns are pretty tough.. usually I just dump them in a low tech tank with some light and dose Excel to give them carbon nutrient..
No matter how low tech co2 either by tank, liquid or tablet is a must...otherwise later sure die or algea will come.
