    hey guys need some help, any of you experienced poor growth of rotala rotundifolia after trimming? some of my stalks also turned black. I'm planting them in a chilled tank with co2 and ei dosing. thanks in advance!

    Some background information...

    How long has the plants been planted? If just recently, did you buy them as trimmings or as already fully grown plants with root systems?

    I found that if I bought stem plants which are trimmings, and trim them too early into planting them, they tend to die off. If you allow them to develop a strong root system for the first 1-2weeks before trimming, they usually do fine.
