So I'll just start of by listing some stuff about the tank before I ask the question
Lighting-2 double bright marineland 46-48inch led
    Co2-yes
    Ferts-EI dosing
    Tank dimensions-38x19x19"
Plants-going to have helferi hairgrass s repens AR mini

Ok so basically my question is that I want to raise my lights of the tank by 4inches so that its Easter to work when needing to do water changes or feedings. Now my substrate is 3inch from the lowest point do that would mean the lights would be 20inch from the lowest point. Do you think I would be able to do this and still have efficient growth? I have heard mixed discussion about what the par lvl is for these lights but I'm just going to post a pic of what it says on the box. I am aiming for high light to almost high so if the raising is going to affect it to much the. I will not do it but if I can I would love to. Here are the pictures of the tank and also te par lvl on the box. The substrate lvl in the tank is not correct but just give you an idea of how it is

And here is kinda the concept of what I'm talking about doing. I still have to cut the acrylic to the right hight by won't do it if it's not going to work out

I think the only way is to measure it. Marineland brand is not available here locally, I doubth anyone here have prior experience with it. Alternatively you can try and error by observing he plants grown. It will not be easy unless you have been in planted in any hobbies for a while.

Looking at Kessil light website (http://www.kessil.com/about/dense_matrix_led.php), I preferred kessil design because it will give me more clearance on top, for maintenance, trimming, etc. Same reason why you want to raise you light.
