    hi guys out there,
like to thanx u all for advising me in my canister problem.
now another issue of my tank:temperature.

currently my tank is very warm.
the 12 gal tank is 32C
the 22 gal tank is 34C

is that bad for plant?i experienced a lot of melting plant.except riccia and amozon sword.other than that everything seems not doing fine. is there anything i can do?

wat i plan is to install DIY fan.but how much can it lower the temp?
    1 fan for the 12 gal :
and 2 fan for the 22 gal.

btw it shall blow on the water surface or at the casing(ballast)?

    hooi,
    12g planted tank
22g low ligh planted discus tank
    4g fish only marine tank
never say never to start a new tank....if got enough money

I think 1 each will be sufficient. estimate around temp drop of 5-6degree, fan shld be directed at the surface

The fans ought to be the standard size too. ( I wonder what's the mm size )

For me, I tilt my fans at a 45 degree angle. I see people doing that too, so I just followed suit.

Anyway, just as a reference: My 16 gallon is doing 26 degrees approx with 2 fans at 45 degrees.

Try lowering the temperature, and see if your plants survive.
