    Nope, they are different species, so will not inter-breed.

    Note that sulawesi shrimps generally prefer higher pH and warmer water conditions though, some variants are more sensitive and require up to pH 8.5 conditions to thrive and breed. So it's a good idea to check the variant requirements.

    So far i've kept Caridina dennerli (aka cardinal shrimp) in a sand-based tank with average pH of 7.2-7.4 for a few months and they've survived, haven't bred yet though. Supposedly cardinal shrimps are the hardier variant, so i guess they are more adaptable to normal aquarium conditions.

    No, they only breed with their own kind. I mean cardinals, goldflake, orchids, malli red. They cannot even interbreed with each other.
    I keep sulawesi shrimps, tetras, birds, exotic pets, herptiles and monster fishes.
