    Hello all,

My name is Gregg and I enjoy 2 unheated tanks, a 20 gal. std. and a 15 gal. long. I keep both native fish and sub tropical fish, both of which there seems to be a lack of information about as far as raising them for enjoyment in an aquarium. Hope to learn much here!

    Best, Gregg

    Hi Keven,

That was confusing, I apologize. My 20 is nominally 24"X16"HX12"W. The 15 is 24"X13"X12". I have (it's a long story,) a 10" pleco, 5 white clouds, 4 black skirt tetras and 6 bloodfin tetras in the 20. I do a 1/2 water change weekly. The 15 contains a 7" or so Japanese weatherfish, (captured locally while tiny,) 8 white clouds, 4 are golden morphs, 4 small fathead minnows, (caught locally, not native my side of the Rockies, but common in places now,) 3 redside shiners, a native fish, imagine a pearl danio. I change the water 30% every other week. Both tanks have intermittent natural light plus a 18" T8 bulb. Because of the pleco I must be watchful of the condition of the 20 gal. tank's water.

And thanks for the welcome! Gregg
