Hi just to share my custom made filter tank run by a inline water pump

purpose is to see how "clean' is my filter ..haha.
dirt and residue will rest at the bottom..

This was done by a friend company.

I have no idea. but he mention a round one will be about $90..

looks great and solid
what is the flow capacity? what pump is used?
I sugest that you cover it in a way to make it dark: the algae growth inside filter will block the flow quickly. I already had a similar experience with diy filter.

Nice design... definitely looks more sturdy than those DIY canister filters using Lock-n-lock tupperware containers.

My small tank is about 18 cm x 18cm x 18cm
Is full arcrylic..
Using o ring as the rubber seal.
The lock is screwed in the arcylic..

i just ask him. $160 for my current one..
I think a bit ex.. He say this is custom made price..

Pump I need to change cos filter thank is 0.5m above my aquarium
cureenty ehiem 80gph output 12gph, water still clean
Intend to Eco plus 300+ gph

no issue on algae is inside my cabinet

Just a thought... i guess this could also be done using those transparent pre-filter canisters too, like the Jaqno brand ones (i think they cost around S$30+), comes with their own quick-release taps too:

Can check at Seaview... i guess other LFS should also stock it too, seems like quite a common product.

nice.. didn't do much research.. miss that out.

but I prefer a square one. cos easier to cut out the shape on wool.
