Anyone have experiences to share with this plant?

I been dosing lots of Potassium. If not the old leave will have holes and seems to detach the stem easily. Anyone manage to grow it tall? Mine is still the same height since I last bought it. It's been spreading some side shoots. But I would prefer them growing slightly taller.

I don't have a test kit to test for the minerals. However I dose Lushgro Aqua every 3 days and every 2 days of Potassium, with a 1 bps CO2 tank and Green element EVO LED, hopefully all these is enough.

depend on where you plant it. For me, those that I tie on rock or wood grow small but those that I plan on ADA soil grow tall.

Mine was on ADA soil. but wouldn't the roots reach for the soil? its starting to spread sideways after growing tall and each individual sections will have roots to anchor down the plant.

I have the problem of older leaves having holes and melting away. Is it K issue?

Should be K issue. They are very hungry for K. I need to dose a lot of potassium to prevent the hole from appearing. 3-4 times a week.

No wonder mine also has so many holes in the leaves. Lack of K. I need to dose more then.
Anyway what shadow says makes sense too. In the soil, the Pinna seems to grow taller. I have some which sent shoots up to the rocks and attached there. Those are relatively smaller. However, the light may also be an issue. Under my main tank, strong lights (maxspect at around 70%) it grows pretty short.
Time to dose more K then.

I do agree that these are fertz hungry.... for it to grow tall for me is easy, just resist trimming and let it grow.....

I also realize for it to stay low, you have to keep trimming the "crown" and it will start to send out side shoots. Whether or not it needs direct lighting, I am still unsure as I have mixed experience... in a corner, I have them growing in a tight clump which has nice green leaves and very bushy, others under the light gets reddish n grows up....

    Hygrophila Pinnatifida

I put this plant under direct strong light and it never grows tall, so I have to move it from background to foreground. It keeps growing more bushy then.

It seems hard to get the true red color for this plant. Mine is like a mix of yellowish green color and slightly orange, not red.
