You need a macro lens to compliment your SLR in order to get a sharp image of the fauna.

I only have the stock lens and a 35mm, a macro will cost as much as my camera! So I'll just have to make do with the lenses I have 😊

Without a macro lens, the DSLR pictures will only be as good as a handphone pictures in term of sharpness.

Definitely agree with you, a macro might be a worthy investment, for now this will do! Attaching a photo taken from the stock lens
