    Re: Super White Dwarf Shrimps?

Actually, many people argue that golden shrimp is different from snow white shrimp. The golden gene is considered to be a sign of low grade and can be differentiated from snow whites from their slightly orangey colour and more obvious "cracking" of their colour. Snow whites, on the other hand, can be thought of as being a CRS that has been bred for its white dominance and lost its red pigmentation (sort of like an over-extreme flower head). These are a thick white with no orangey hue and generally no cracking. They are also probably harder to find than even the PRLs. Golden shrimp are much easier to get in your local LFS and heaps cheaper, if you are willing to live with a "dirtier" white.

Alternatively, consider snowball shrimp from the neocaradina family. Those are an opaque white and very nice as well.
