Those Echinodorus will overtake your tank in a hurry if your fertilisation is good.
Views and/or opinions are greatly appreciated for a beginner like me.

Thanks for the info. The fert I use is the one recommended by a staff of my LFS and my CO2 is DIY. Any recommendation on ferts? Thinking about Seachem brand.

Do install a drop checker (if you haven't done so yet), so that you can monitor the Co2 levels in the water... this is important for DIY Co2 systems as they tend to be less stable in terms of output, so it's possible for the Co2 to be insufficient or accumulate to lethal levels for the livestock if not monitored over time.
Thanks bro. Duly noted

Your tank's a great start, but I'd suggest considering more of the vertical space in your tank.
Look at some of 2014's Aquascaping Award winners, and you'll find the trend of using not just the horizontal space, but also making use of the vertical aspects (or lack thereof) in the tank. Using larger stones and taller plants in the back will help quite a bit with this. (The Iwagumi style uses this technique quite a bit.)
It's also important to create a sense of scale, which is why you'll nearly always see nano fish present in Aquascaping. If you do this right, people won't be able to tell that it's a smaller tank when they're looking at pictures. (This is a great example. That tank is 5.4 gallons.)
If you have any questions or want some more thoughts on your scape, shoot me an email at [email protected] and I'll help you out.

Hi there AQ peeps. Decided to rescape my 3ft tank. This has been running for almost 4week now. Decided to upgrade from DIY CO2 to pressurized one. Had been dosing Flourish Iron and Potassium alternate daily. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1436382502.149457.jpg

Looks good. Better than the first try
How is the parameters? Have you check what is the ppm for your CO2? Or are you still using DIY CO2 for new setup?
I don't really have test kits for my tank. I only got drop checker. I'm using pressurized CO2 running with 2-3bps for 6-8hrs a day
Lighting is 2x39Watts and 2x18Watts also for 6-8hrs a day.
