put a bag of catappa[natural miracle leaf] from ocean-free into a 2ft tank containing neon and harlequin.
after half an hour, the water color changed and surprised to see all the ten harlequin "surfacing" apparently "dazed".
The neon tetras were ok, chasing after food added, while the rasbora didn't even know the food was there. Before adding the leaf, they were at the food faster than the neon.

    what could hv happened

With my unhappy experience with Rasboras.....they are pretty sensitive to changes in water conditions........

    thanks, David.
I had actually quickly done 30% a water change.

btw, if i would to do the condition change gradually [say over a wk's time], could it be possible to get them accustomed to the new condition.

rasbora aint sensitive, its the sudden change of condition after add the leaves that cause them to raise to the top.

agreed..i think rasboras are actually hardier than the neons...i think its just cos the neons adapt better to acidic waters...
