Should be procambarus clarkii red, one of the most common crayfishes. 6 is quite a lot, how big is your tank?
I bought 6 of these guys recently in hope to breed them and feed them to my Puffers in future (which might take forever )
However i need to do some reading to find out the proper housing and requirements for them. The problem is, i do not know the scientific name for it. Would appreciate your kind help to ID it for me. If it's of any help, i bought them from a LFS each for $2

The intended breeding tank is 2 X 1.5 X 1.50. Not sure of the ideal breeding numbers so I just bought whatever the LFS has left.

Okay, im not sure if it will be too many, 4-5 might be a better number. Anyways just provide more decor to break their line of sight, and more hiding places, it should reduce their territorial aggression.
So far I have 13 PVC pipes sawed and glued for them. No gravel and filtration is an OHF with fine mesh strainer., those usually used by shrimp hobbyist
