    Hi guys,

does anyone tried bringing and plants or fishes to Canada before ?
I think many of us had brought back fishes and plants from other countries without much problems. But it seems like bringing them to Canada is not as simple.
coz the variety of plants in the city i'm in is rather... erm....pathetic. And they don't sell any nice shrimps here! the only way is to bring them in myself.
    Any advice guys ?

    Kenny

is best you check with their custom over at Canada. For plants, why don't you get your friends to send them over by postal?

    oh i see.. thanks.

so posting of plants is a tested and proved method ?
i think the sender has to write what is the item being posted. will the postal service actually allow plants to be posted ???

kekeke, I think those who have done it can comment on this. I believe plants are widely distributed by post

What you can do is find a transhipper over there and do it. I've dealed with bettas for a year or so already and we get US/Canada Customers regularly.
What we do is we gather a large amount of fish (eg. 150) and send out by plane to a transhipper there. From there the transhipper will send the fish out to every customer. What you have to do is pay $5.00 USD per fish pack (a small space) and misc charges your transhipper will charge you.
Can try to contact this transhipper. Linda Olsen, [email protected] or Nancy Pace, [email protected]
