Is the middle plant a moss??if it is, then it is not a true water moss and will die off after a while in water
Thanks.

The SAE did nothing with the algae.
Hope the Amano (Yamato) shrimps work.

Algae Eater not eating algae is an anomaly. But maybe it is just a 'spoit-brat' Algae Eater which has been fed with fish food.
Maybe you can just try and ensure it doesn't get any fish food, but that would be difficult, as they are extremely swift creatures which can beat any fish to the food.
I once bought two Chinese Algae Eaters and they cleared my thickly green tank within days, and then they starved to death because there's no more algae left.
LIFE IS UNBEARABLE WITHOUT A FISH TANK!!!
The bolbitis, dont buried the rhizome,it have to be above the soil.

It's so sad to see the SAE died after it got tangled by the hair algae.

Currently plagued by Rhizoclonium.
Added more Amano shrimps, Otocinclus and did 3 consecutive days of 20% water change with little effect.
Blackout day 1...
Hope it helps.
