It is expensive to my opinion. For 2 feet you dont really need top brace.
there are cheaper options out there.

Yeah bro its really expensive if you would ask me. I got my 2 feet cube with 3 side crystal glass 10mm thick, cabinet and sump lesser than what you have mentioned.
Bracing in layman term the extra piece of glass to add additional support to the tank. Can be either bottom or top bracing but usually its more for bigger longer tank as to have additional support to prevent tank from "splitting".
bro i think 12mm is extremely overkilled for 2ft fresh water.
My tank is designed for marine with you should know contains more weight as salt water is heavier. Not mentioning that mine is braceless tank.
wow damn ex. pls list the shop so i can avoid. out to chop your carrot head.
btw its tank + cabinet just to be clear
2 feet cube, 2x2x2 12mm with cabinet.
Ask for 10mm glass, how much is it?
Hi Stuart Phoon ,
Few question to clarify
1)quality of the glass
2)material of the cabinet
3)is delivery included ?
My opinion to justify that price u stated
60x60x60cm tank can hold roughly 220litre of water .
It's volume a 3x1.5x1.5 aquarium tank can hold roughly 180litre of water .
In comparison 2ft cube u mention needed support because of its tank water volume due to its height . The acting pressure on the joint need to be taken into consideration thus the maker recommended bracing , to counter the pressure that will act on the side .
Normally bracing on tank is made of glass .

hi, i just got my tank from AA PPG starphire glass.. 60x60x60... with cabinet.. abt 930+ ... material of cabinet i heard its solid wood and plywood.. delivery included
erm qn is they recommended eheim ecco pro 300.. but my googling online told me that it might nt good enough for a 2ft cube tank? should i change it while i still can? i am ok with topping up
oh btw tank is 10mm thick glass
It all depends on the amount of bio-load you plan to keep in the tank... if its alot of livestock, then better to go for canister filters with larger media volume to support more beneficial bacteria. If the bio-load is going to be light-moderate for the tank volume, then the Ecco Pro 300 could still be sufficient.
Do consider the overall flow and circulation in the tank too, with a 60cm x 60cm base and 60cm height you will need ample flow to reach all areas of the tank to avoid dead spots (especially important for planted tanks), so plan your outflow paths and layout accordingly.
I have a 2 feet height tank, cleaning it is a pain .. if it is a bit lower it would be easier to reach, just one of my cons for 2 feet height.
