I know many of u use Jobes sticks as fertilizers. I read from APD that the US hobbyists refrain from using Jobes as it causes GW easily once u uproot the plants. Any comments from the users here?

No problem with me, even if when i insert the Jobe, small flakes will get into the water column. But i use lots of hornwort and other greedy feeders anyway, so all excess nutrients are probably soaked up quickly.

greenwater is cause by excessive light (natural or unnatural), excessive nutrients in the water.. one good way is UV filter, the other is blackout method

You can try putting a bottle of water in the sun for a day or 2. You would be able to see the water turning green.
    Cheers!!
