FLORENCE, capital of the region of Tuscany, has a population of around half a million inhabitants, spreads on the banks of the Arno, between the Adriatic and the Tyrrhenian seas, almost in the middle of the Italian peninsula. It is a city which bustles with industry and craft, commerce and culture, art and science.

All Adobe Photoshop program can do that. It's the text function.

erm benny, I'm experimenting with your bettas, having problems.

how do you achieve the black background thing?

what's the exif settings on that photo? I've tried 1/800/f16 - 1/2000 - f/8 but I get a properly exposed photo with the background in focus/visible.

do you overexpose the key and fill lighting in raw and then pull it back?

do you use a bounce on rim/fill lighting?

for the key/top light, I realise I get better results by putting the fresnel lens on rather than using tissue paper, the fill light seems to soften any harshness that should have resulted without the use of paper to diffuse the key light.

do you overexpose the key and fill lighting in raw and then pull it back?

    ---
how do you get the betta to flash at you with its side profile? I placed other bettas at the tank and the only consistent way is to put the rival betta at the rear of the tank.

Sorry guys, I must have missed this one.

Photo with black background is shot at high speed and small aperture. Lighting is control from top and side only. Shutter speed should be around 1/250 to 1/320 and aperture between F16 to F32.
