    Ok, am new to endlers.

Currently I have 2 tiger endlers with 5 females in a 2ft tank.
Nothing much in the tank except lava rock and soil as I'm trying to grow mc as carpet.
Using 2 hob filter which goes like 500L/hr.

Endlers have been with me nearly for a month, yet no babies still.
Been feeding them regularly, like twice a day.

    Am I doing it correctly?

Hello, going good and strong but slow.

I left with 3 males and 5 females.. over the past month or so, babies can easily be seen.
    Each time,only 1 or 2 are born.
Slow birth rate.. I yet to see any new born males or they all look the same like females when young?

No doubt, endlers are fun, peaceful and a joy to watch

Young fry looks the same, cannot tell the sex apart till some 6-8 weeks old. To harvest more fry, u can try isolating the females when they are about to drop. Remember to add some plants like hornwort for the fry to hide as tiger endler females do eat up their own babies.

That's interesting, this is the first time I actually manage to breed some fish.

My tank is 2ft and rather empty. . Nothing much for them to hide. Only 3 rocks and carpet grass..

Thanks for sharing knowledge, I probably will upload a pic when the tank looks more presentable

bro, may i know your water parameter (if you have)? it is because i bought guppies (2males, 3 females) two weeks ago and all die within a week. I tested my water and it seems to be fine except the ph is slightly acidic at 6.8. So, like to learn how do you keep endler.

Sorry, to be frank with you.. I have never really tested my water parameters since day 1.. haha.. I'm a cheapo.

The only stuff that I use is the tds which I borrow from my neighbour. . And the reading is high, usually 400-500 as my tank is a planted.

Need to raise the PH level 6.8 slightly higher. If it gets lower then you may see the guppies less active.
