    Hi,

my current planted tank has the following:

    1. Rummy nose & Cardinals, nerite snails, yamato shrimps & cherry shrimps, plecos
    2. Monte Carlo as carpet grass all over the tank (foreground & background). Pretty well rooted and covers the entire tank. Very few area with open gravel
    3. Using ADA-like gravel (can't remember the exact name). Those type that will crumble when crushed. Not sand

I'm interested in keeping some eartheaters (maybe 2-3?) in my tanked tank.

I would like to hear from anyone who has had similar experiences.

    Some of my concerns:
    1. Understand eartheaters sieve through sand to pick up food. Given that I have no sand for them to sieve through, will this be a problem? Also, will there be problems with gravel, especially since they have tendency to crumble
    2. Will they uproot plants? I'm growing well-rooted monte carlo.
    3. Food/Diet? What do you feed them? I feed mostly Hikari sinking algae tabs for plecos and floating pellets for tetras
    4. Tank mates, especially with the smaller fauna like shrimps.

Any other feedback would be much appreciated too.
    Cheers
    Boon Yong

The name should sound off some alarms already.

Quite sure they would eat shrimps, I'd recommend against it
