I found these eggs on eBay, which the poster identifies as a "Brazilian jewel" killie. The photo looks like a female betta, but the fin profile is different. Google doesn't seem to be aware of this fish. I could not get hold of the vendor for comment.

Correction, it should be Hysolebias fulminantis. They are pretty South American Annuals. Some of us here used to maintain them.
