I dunno why my guppy had grown 'hair' on her head. It has been growing slowly. Is it contagious? I put her in quarantine tank but still sharing the same water with the rest. Should I let her go?

Very serious. Take it out and try the salt bath treatment for 5 minutes in a quarantine tank, but make sure the salt is not too much. Hope it works to save your guppy.

Also, immediately treat the whole tank with fungus medication.

I do not use any medication, so I am quite ignorant about such. The only remedy I used is the salt treatment. If that does't work, I usually do not go further than that, as I regard such as very time-consuming and without assurance of results. Thus, I don,t waste time on it.

Try 20% salt bath, go to local fish shop to get methylene blue. And yes, separate the infected piece.
