Effective way to stop green hair algae

My tank really free of algae now ! I feel that seachem phosguard really help in hair / black hair algae too.
High level of phosphate will causes all the stupid funny algae and super low level of phosphate will causes green dust algae.
It quite challenge to achieve a good balance. Maybe i really to invest on phosphate test kit to find what am i measuring.

Hi there Dscheng! Actually, another solution to curb your levels of phosphate would be to introduce some floating plants or fast growing plants into your Aquarium! The only worry is that your fast growing plants might crowd your aquarium.
