yes, but the circulation must be good.. they r always spotted near to the outlet pipe.. instead of pincers, they have a fan-like claw
I bought 2 rather large looking shrimps today. Shopkeeper called it "mountain shrimp". They look brownish and are about 7-8 cm long. Anyone seen them before?
Can these be kept in a planted tank without them attacking my plants (especially riccia), tetras, malayan prawns, bee shrimps and other community fishes?

Simon, thanks! Will put them into the tank this evening...still in quarantine as I was concerned that they could become predators to my plants, community fishes and prawns.
BTW, do you know the actual name of these prawns and what do they feed on...algae?

PS: My new 4 feet planted tank is doing pretty well!!! Remember...it started with 2 longkang fish that my daughter caught.
