I'm trying to carpet MC too. It's been two weeks; no algae but some melted while some have rebounced. How big is your tank bro?

if you bought your MC in an emersed state (not planted in water) then some will inevitably melt as it transitions to a full submersed state. But be patients, and it will grow and carpet very nicely

I just chuck it there and aim the wave maker at it... maybe recently the weather is cool enough for the moss.. hope during the hot season it will stay this way

Maybe background some rotala red type will bring out the colour of your whole tank. Trimming is a headache though haha..
