So far I've had 3 crs that died due to molting issues. The rest of the shrimps seem to have no problems molting.

After keeping guppies in my office for some time, decided that I still preferred shrimps. Decided to make it a small lightly planted tank and to keep some CRS in it. Make use of the aircon environment.
Tank specs:
Volume - 3.5L
Filtration - mini HOF with biohome plus & CR
Lighting - AquaLighting Pico
Aeriation - alpha pump with eheim air stone
Temperature - 24 to 26 degree variation
Soil - GEX powder shrimp soil
Plants - Mostly HC
Inhabitants - 9 CRS, 3 adult cherry, 2 snails & >8 shrimplets.

Week 3 so far.. Tank is doing well.. Shrimps are all active and feeding well. I have seen a few moltings so far.
The challenge has been to reduce the temperature swing when the aircon switches off at night. I've been using a fan and blowing it at the side of the tank. It's slower than blowing it over the water surface, but it reduces the evaporation rate by a fair bit.
I added a vial of Biodigest to help in the water quality.

Perhaps you can try covering a portion of the top of the tank as well so as to reduce the evaporation rate. Any other additives added?
BT-9, old sea mud powder during start up.
Changing of water/topup using distilled water with mineral plus.
