Where to buy good-looking driftwood for cheap?

Hi all! I was wondering where i could buy good-quality (or good looking) driftwood for perhaps 2ft or 3ft aquascapes. I am looking for driftwood that has the typical "Twisted" look like the driftwood in Urban Aquaria's "Forest edge" aquascape and also for driftwood that is big enough to cover at least 60-70% of the space in a 2ft aquarium. I have visited LFS like seaview but they only have very small driftwood that is also overpriced in my opinion. Any advice by veterans or pros would be greatly appreciated!

You can check at other places that specialize in aquascaping like Green Chapter, Fishy Business, East Ocean etc... they usually stock a selection of various twisty wood pieces in different sizes.

Just an example of the type of wood selections at Green Chapter from their facebook page:

Prices can vary alot based on wood type, size and shape... its possible the nice ones that you really like might cost more, so you just have to decide based on your preference and budget.

The thing with wood is that each piece is unique (unlike products and equipment), so its not like you can go to another shop to buy an exact same one cheaper. Sometimes if you find a really nice piece, might just have to bite the bullet and buy it.

Hi guys, am currently looking for driftwood too. Been to the usual LFS like seaview, GC, sunpets, etc. Do find them overpriced without a good variety.

Anyone knows if there are any driftwood suppliers willing to do walk ins? Sort of like the Jalan Lekar place for rocks but it's for driftwood instead.

You can try getting the driftwood from qian hu. They charge by weight ($11/kg I think). This is unlike most places that charge based on the structure of the wood. You can find nice looking wood without paying a "premium".

I managed to get some wood from forum bros today. But that is fantastic info. I will definitely pop by Qian Hu to look at that next time I am in the area.
