actually, I'm not certain if iodine is bad. (or maybe its just concentration), cos floreal (aquamedic plant fert) claims to have iodine = good for plants/fish
well..i checked it out and there are some reccomendations out there that say not to use marine salt...well...those artificial types to simulate marine environment kind anyway... They supposedly have some buffers and stuff that aren't good for freshwater fish...is that true?? hmmm..i'm going to read more...but for now i think i'll just head down and get a bag of aquarium salt...dont want to see the rare pencil fishes die on me....then i really ..kekeke
