    Does anyone else have one of the Eheim Pro3 1200XL / 2080 ? If so, are these considerably louder than the smaller products in the pro 3 range?
    Mine is so I just want to make sure that's normal...

    I believe Eheim canister filter do not sound loud when in operation. You could tilt the filter front to back and or side to side. Tilt one way at a time, likely a minute or so before changing to another direction.
