Testing the Haliea HS-66a and ehiem 2250+ 1260 to see if the setup is working properly and there are no leakages since they are all bought used or given. So far everything looks good, no leaking and running quietly.

Wow, that is the only canister filter in the Classic series I have not owned.
If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.
Don't walk behind me as I might not lead, don't walk in front of me as I might not follow. Walk beside me, as my friend.
Mohamad Rohaizal is my name. If it's too hard, use BFG. I don't mind.
That is one huge muther! Lol! On the subject of your sera reactor, you may want to test the CO2 dissolve rate in due time. There may be a risk of CO2 air pocket build up if the injection rate is faster than dissolve rate. Do update!
Yes, guys, the 2250 is huge, a bigger brother to Ada canister , maybe I should spray it silver to make it look alike..
with regards to to the sera reactor, i need to experiment further, I have run it like 15 min and it seems to handle 6bps pretty well, infact half way down the reactor, I don't see any more bubbles. Will update when my tank arrive and setup completed.
6 bps seems to be alot if using reactor i feel but i never own a 4 feet tank before thou .
no need spray can, Aluminum foil plus the trusty silver duct tape.
Just received 2 pcs of 4ft Green Element EVO 3W today. Each piece is giving out 96W and both would give out 192W.
I hope PAR value of 100 is achievable after I hang it above the tank.

Thank you Jacky
Today, my customize stainless steel hanging kit is in, since all hanging stand in the market can only hang lights for 45-50cm wide tank (if you are hanging 2 lights in parallel), I have no choice but to customize a longer arm to cover 60cm wide tank and an additional hanging bar and kit . Consider the time to custom fabricate and frieght, it took 7 days from placing of order to have it arrive at my door steps.
As for the total cost .... Look at me

Got my Ehiem quick release too

Since the UV is meant to be switch on as and when I need it, I did a UV bypass kit. The purpose of the UV Bypass kit is to ensure the water flow speed is not affected when the UV is not turned on.
When the UV is turned on, the 4 additional right angle bend would definitely slow down the flow which from UV perspective is good. The slower flow would ensure the bacteria and algae are killed more effectively.

Congratulations! Looking good!
That really looks great! Should consider it be my future dream project!

Thank you guys, still many things to do, I hope my plans works out.
soon will be the most difficult part, the scaping and planting is going to be tough, still need a lot of advise from everyone here.
Finally did up my 4ft tank 1 day before my business trip. Plant, flooded and fishes-in on the same day. Now is day 6 and have being away for 5 days. Glad to see the MC have already fully carpeted. All my fishes are doing fine including my zebra oto and shrimps with no casualty.

MC fully carpeted in 5 days because I plant 70% dense from the start. Almost no melting at all it's already creeping well. I got the MC from farm direct which were fully emmersed and they scrap it up from a big patch on the ground. I have never seen MC growing on full dry ground before. It was quite an experience.

It actually creeps quite a lot in 5 days

Amazing looking! Very tidy and crystal clear, too. Some Corydoras should love your lovely sand ground out there!

Yes I have 6 Cory inside.
I have dosed almost 30$ worth of bacteria, the canister can hold 11L of medias, of which 5litres of ceramic rings are recycled from my decom tank and 5 liters are new ceramics rings, so the cycled period have being reduce drastically.
I have planted the plants base on the light intensity required. The red plants are up on the slopes closer to the lights, and the slower growing plants like Buceps, mini fussiden and Nana is on the sand bank. Which will minimize spot algae.
The light hanging fixture allows me to adjust the light intensity very easily for easier algae management.
the tank is still pretty messy, I still need to re tied and reposition most of the plants.
will post the details of the plants when I am done with the layout.

Great start! Do share your fert regime and water parameters.
Thank you Ivan. I need to start buying test kits
The follow in my tank is not perfect, need to change the inlet and outlet layout.
is my light too strong? My Rotala Green is creeping..

Don't worry about the rotalas. I realize they have a tendency to creep at the initial stage. Just trim them aggressively and they will start to grow side shoots. The more you trim the bushier they get. Don't be afraid to trim them as they are fast grower. It'll come to a point where you wish they grow slower lol. But it's a nice plant to have! I remembered my initial trim I cut really low, left about 2 nodes above substrate and replanted the tops. Thereafter you'll find them growing at different pace, just left them grow out and trim again. Repeat the process until they branch and fill in the gaps nicely. It takes awhile but the process is really fun, eventually you'll be able to sculpt them. It'll also come to a stage where you won't have space to replant the tops, just give them away. Don't plant them too closely I keep them about 1cm apart for individual stems. Some people will plant a few stems together but I didn't go with that.
