    I think it's species specific, and the tank's environment affects too. I would say average 1~2 weeks for most plants.

    As what Ivan said, around 2 weeks to be safe. In the meanwhile do watch out for any algae infestation. As there will be less plants absorbing the excess nutrients in the water.
