does not look very bad case of melting (like a big patch), it should have new shoots.
i dose selected ferts from 3-4 day onwards.. day 1 co2 already start.
Noticed today that my MC on one part of tank starting to turn yellow and melt?
Compared to the other side still healthy.
Aquarium is newly set up now in 3rd week.
Wondering if anyone noticed similar stuff before? I tried dosing some iron and npk ferts today (never used thus far since tank is new)

I think it's the Excel that's causing the melt. I've experienced it a couple of times, MC don't take well to Excel spot treatment, even when the Excel is diluted. Excel dosing in water column is fine though.
If the melting worsens, I'll recommend pulling the decaying bits out before the it creeps over and covers itself. MC grows fast in good condition, will cover the empty patches in no time, don't worry.
