I bought a bag of Amano shrimps but one stood out from the rest with the "extra" hands. Is this a common sight? I thought it was ghost shrimp but after comparing the two, this pair of hands look mild and non-aggressive and the shrimp is bluish in color similar to the rest of the Amano. Is this a male Amano shrimp?

Are you sure the pic is Yamato? Don't look
    like Yamato to me.

I highly doubt that's a Amano shrimp, look more like macrobrachium species.

You are probably right. It didn't want to mingle with the rest of my Yamoto shrimps and behaved like restless lone ranger. Anyway, it is harmless so I didn't ask for refund.
