It's normal to see some of the HC melt during the transition period from emersed to submersed conditions, just trim and remove the melted parts to reduce rotting plant matter.

If the plants have rooted and established well during DSM phase, the initial transition effect usually only lasts for a week or so, in the mean time you should see new growth too.

Glad to hear that. Hopefully my 2 months dsm efforts won't go in vein. Thanks!

    Btw, just as an sharing.

Day 1: HC start pearling after 1-2 hours of light.
Day 2: WC 30%. 1ml Lushgrow macro. Still see a bit pearling here and there. Added a zebra snail from my fishless cycle tank.
Day 3: WC 60%. No pearling. Stock up some cardinal tetra. Quite hesitate to intro fish now but isn't that the objective for fishless cycling?
