Ammonia is 0.25 ppm after wc, hopefully by night/tml it should be 0.

Where did my nitrate went to
I dont have particular fast growing plants ...

Commando shrimps are in after I tested ammonnia/nirite/nitrate!
Total of 10 commandos. Shall see if they survive 1 week.
Got 10 of these guys from the packets near the cashier. Not sure if they are CRS thou...bag wrote SFTB, or something like that.
Total of 0 death after 24hours, hopefully it will stay that way.

Just to update, shrimps have been alive for more than 72 hours! Dropped in 1/4 piece of Dennerle Shrimp Complete food to test but they ignored it. So I suppose my tank have enough food for them.
My tank evaporation rate is quite fast, can I add distilled water to top or should I use chlorinated water.
Gh is about 6 now, I have mineral rock into the tank too.
Seems abt right.... One blue note.... But ya exp commandos

If its just top up, use distill water. (Help to prevent building up of excessive mineral which exist naturally in the water) water change, can use dechlorinated water.

Just a small update.
Since the water parameters have been stable for 1 week and I seen quite a few molting, I assumed the tank is quite stable now.
I have since took out the 10 commandos, passed it to my friend and added a few PRL (4Female/3Male) from Aquarist Chamber.
17 hours since PRL were added, no casualty so far. Finger crossed!

Haha, he did treat me to a meal after that.
Only 1 of them were infront of the tank for a nice shot.
Now I'm battling with brown hair algae on my weeping moss. Every 2 day I need to use toothbrush to comb it out.
I know adding amano shrimp will help with it, but will they be very aggressive towards other shrimps

Just to add on, saw a few molted shell lying around.
Hopefully they will grow and get berried.
Got 2 otto in the tank, it seems they prefer other algae cause they very very rarely touch the brown hair like algae.
