Noticed that my male platies seem to have a maximum lifespan of less than a year while my female platies lived for 3 and half years maximum and have lots of fry in their lifetime.
Is that the norm too in their native Central America as well?
-50 assorted normal Platies, 12 assorted Corydoras, 30 Ember Tetras and 14 Kuhli Loaches in a 90 x 45 x 50 tank.(Eheim Ecco Pro 300)

Not all, guppy and endler males are quite peaceful with each other.
