    Assortment of reasons. Could be co2 bubbles from diffuser, could be biofilm/ protein on water layer causing aerated bubbles to stay in form longer, could be worse things like soap or detergent. Generally if the bubbles don't stay too long, there is not much to worry.

    If you see bubbles forming up on the water surface and it still lingers on in clumps even when you switch off the pump, then its indicative of high concentrations of organic compounds in the water. Usually due to the accumulation of waste or rotting matter from the tank's livestock bio-load.

    In such cases, it'll be a good idea to do more water changes and clean the tank more frequently.

    That is right! I had just removed dead plants.
