Hey ya guys, i've just finished another brandnew setup. This one is an improvised version with easy maintenance and filtration purposes also. This is a 2ft setup divided in one section by a wall just enough for the filtration unit to be placed in and the other for the fauna and flora. Also included is an active inhabitant. Enjoy the pics.

And of coz the brilliant star of the whole setup.

And here's another shot of this shy boi.

    Regards,
    Phillip.

thats a common greenback which most people mistaken as a tree frog,
anyway its a nice specimen!!! although u do see characteristic of a tree frog buid in him. i had one b4, rescued from a lfs with a patch of fungus on her wound. kept her for about a year, nursed to full health and released back to the wild.

No worries, as Rana erythraea(the sci name) is a common native species, sometimes caught and sold in lfs as aro food(some people jus love to feed anything )

majority of the time they spent is in the drains or water area, thus Wild Ginger's setup is perfect for it. they usually only actually climb is for basking and hunting for food!!!

heres an old pic of the darling

Yes, this tank has an acrylic cover with holes for ventilation as well. Same goes for my other setups as well. The frog won't leap out but it'll try to "escape" when no one's viewing him, that's why a proper lid top is essential for the humidity as well as having your frogs safely in and not wander aimlessly in your vicinities.

Nope the frog will not eat the shrimps as they prefer insects more than to crustaceans, but this vary from species to species.

    Regards,
    Phillip.

They're mainly fed on a diet of mealworms and crickets with occasional calcium supplements.
