Will the offspring be 1/2 bloody mary and 1/2 cherry or will it be all cherries or all bloody marys?

Re: Bloody Mary Shrimp crossbreeding with cherry shrimp

Possible outcome, low grade cherry - bloody mary. Most likely u will get sakura grade and below.

Slight chance of getting wild cherry, chocolate, blue bolt, yellow, sunkish (orange) and white.

Depending on your water parameters, food grades, and how u intend to cull/keep the shrimps, the odds of getting bloody mary after 2nd gen will be close to 10% only.

Once bm losses their chocolate's speciality, then it is no longer bm (many hobbyist still consider their deep red as bm though).

I kept bm, and i had all the above mentioned through personal experience. Dont take my word for it, maybe there are better shifu who can help u better.

Most of my shrimps still carries the short rostrum though. You will still need to add chocolate if you intend to have bm
