I am only using four products - Calcium Nitrate (for the N), Potassium Sulphate (for the K), Potassium Phosphate for the (mainly the P, it does not give alot of K) and Lushgro-Micros.
My tank size is approximately 500litres (150cm x 55cm x 60cm). My tank is lightly planted with undemanding plants - ie javas, nanas, Amazon swords, duckweeds, buce plants, hair grass and val. The only plant that I don't have much success is the tiger lotus plants - they will usually die off after a few weeks. But that's probably because I am using sand substrate (rather than ada soil etc) and not due to the fertilizers. I have 6 hours of light and 7 hours of CO2 (at an approximate 10bps or more).
I dose the fertilizers according to an EI calculator I found in Play Store (android). But bear in mind, the formulation for LushGro is based on a PPMD formulation as stated somewhere in their website.
So far, I have 8 yamamoto prawns, 10+ otos, 20+ cories, 3 sparkling gouramis, 2 scarlet dario and 2 fresh water clams. They are doing fine. Although initially within the first 2 months of my setups, I had casualties amongst the otos and yamamoto but i think it is more because i did not condition them properly before adding into the tank. If you keep shrimps, i think you should read carefully on the LushGro micros as it contains copper (CU). I only dosed 5 to 6 ml once a week in my tank. I tried to dose twice a week but I think the excess iron caused green spot algae. After reducing the dosage back to once a week, I don't have a problem with GSA anymore. For me, I had expected the clams and the yamamotos to be affected after I added the Lushgro... but they are thriving. So I suppose the dosage is not strong enough.
Finally, I change 40 to 50% of water once a week.
