Hi all !
As I am moving house soon, I'm excited to start a new tank !
Currently am not sure if I should get a 3ft or a 4ft tank and what kind of scraping to get for it.
I feel like getting a river aquascape with freshwater pipefish, twig catfish, ember tetra and shrimps !
And I'm not sure if I should build myself or have someone to build for me....
Anyone can advise?
It depends on you actually... the bigger the better with more playing space and shoaling spaces for schooling fishes. If you prefer to build your own by all means... but if ya feeling lazy it's always best to ask someone to build for you for an extra fee. 3ft or 4ft low profile tanks look awesome on ADA style cabinet.
Just the empty tank and cabinet is enough to draw attention and admire....
the bigger the better for a beginner if you have a thick wallet, else 3ft tank is just fine too.
If I were to get someone to build a scape for me . With the tank, cabinet and filtration system plus light .
How much would it cost ?
3ft around 3k, give and take

yes, if you engage someone it will be expensive obviously. if you do it yourself you can save around 500-1000$ depends on your substrate, plant etc selection
i am not sure about pipe fish
