    Hi people,
I am just wondering if there is any problem with my rcs in my tank. I recently purchased 20 or 30 adult rcs at c328 after aclimating for like 3 hours, which i slowly add water every 10mins, a shot glass volume. So after releasing them, also happy cause there were like about 10 baby shrimplets inside hehe, then i left them for 1 hour and came back seeing like 15? gathered at my driftwood at the top, very near the surface.

I then proceeded with 20% wc, but they still gather at the top. Is there anything wrong? Kinda worried. Water slightly brackish cause i used the ocean free ketapang bags but i removed it after using for 2hours which was like 1 week ago.

    FYI:
I have cycled this tank for 3 weeks with my fancy guppies but i have rehoused them but there are still 12 3 weeksold fry guppies but i dont think its them scaring my rcs.

I only have ph test kit atm, which is around 6.7ph.

Anyone able to help a fellow shrimp newbie? Thank you very much

Maybe increase the surface agitation for more oxygen.

    How about other water parameters?

I notice shrimps have different characters. Some of them like to crawl up my hob outlet when the water level is high almost at the outlet level. I also have a mesh forming a moss wall which the shrimp try climbing near the surface as if they want to climb out.

No issues so far. In fact the playful one was berried and since produced some 30 babies.

...and shrimp love being on drift wood
